All vehicles sold by IBCAuto.com via AutoTerminal.com Americas (ATA) undergo a stringent and thorough screening process before they are shipped. Claims are limited to descriptions that are misquoted that should be picked up in a normal on-site inspection of the vehicle. Problems that would not be picked up in a normal on-site inspection of the vehicle should be considered part of the risks of the import business and are not covered.
Guarantee is restricted to the description of vehicles purchased via the Internet or by faxed stock list. Bumpers, tires, brakes, clutches, CV joints, batteries, electrical, audio accessories, aircon and toolkits are not included and are considered maintenance items. Damage during shipment is also not covered and should be appropriately claimed with the local shipping agent. Minor paint and panel discrepancies are also not covered as these are often a result of handling in the ports and on the ship.
Claims policy
All vehicles purchased direct from IBCAuto.com via ATA are backed by a 7-day guarantee. If the vehicle(s) arrive and are not as described, a claim must be submitted within 7 days after arrival at the destination port, regardless of customs clearance, transport, delivery or compliance time. Claims are not accepted for vehicles driven off the port to destinations more than 2 kilometers away without a full servicing and change of fluids. Claims involving shipping damage should have a surveyors report PRIOR to removing them from the port and a claim submitted to the shipping company through the local shipping agent.
The following conditions apply to all claims applications:
The vehicle must not have been registered.
The vehicle must not have traveled in excess of 2kms.
The vehicle must be in the exact condition as when it was received with no modifications.

Interior Grading System:
A Very good condition
B Good condition
C Average condition
D Below average condition
Important Note:
All grading is based on the year of the vehicle and relates to what a vehicle's condition would be expected to be given its age. For example, a vehicle less than 1 year old graded 4.0 would probably have several faults or areas that require reconditioning even though the condition overall is good as it is almost new. By contrast, a vehicle 10 years old would be expected to be in average (3.5) condition but would be in very good condition if it was graded 4.0 as it is in better condition than most vehicles of that age. The vehicle grading, both interior and exterior, do not relate to reconditioning costs. Close attention to specific vehicle details shown on the condition reports are recommended.
Condition grades are based on a comparison with a normal vehicle's condition of the same year, make, model and mileage being graded.
All grading is subjective and depends on the age and mileage of the vehicle. For example; A new vehicle with extensive scratches or dents on the outside would grade higher than a 10 year old vehicle with 100,000 kms in the same condition.
Grading should be used as a general guide but the condition notes for each vehicle should be specifically noted and reviewed prior to buying.
